Batman: The Dark Knight Rises – Teaser Poster

If you’re half as excited as I am for the upcoming Christopher Nolan Batman movie, then you must be very, very excited. Add a couple of very’s to that and you’d feel what I’m feeling. After all, how epic was The Dark Knight?

Set for a July 20, 2012 release, The Dark Knight Rises has had its teaser poster released and it is full of destruction in Gotham City. And based simply on this and the premise that with any Nolan movie, to get a city destroyed like this, he takes you on a roller coaster ride, then we’re in for one great cinematic experience.

“The Dark Knight Rises” will again star Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne (Batman), Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox and Michael Caine as Alfred. The film also stars Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard. A star studded cast that will surely work in favor of this movie.

Now, enough with the talking. Check out the poster:

  1. Really can’t wait to watch it, but there’s always a bitter taste now with it, since Heath passed away after the last movie. Still can’t watch The Dark Knight withought feeling weird.
But I’m sure the new one will be awesome, hopefully released in 3D, is there any information about that?

    • I’ve thought about that. Heath Ledger was a great reason why The Dark Knight was great but he wasn’t the only reason. He was working with a great director and he had an amazing story to play out. And he gave it their all.
You haven’t watched Inception but it’s by the same director and the actors and actresses gave their all in that movie as well. I think Christopher Nolan, the director, pushes everyone in his movie to give their best so I’m quite sure that this movie will be absolutely amazing.

No word yet on what the story is about and no word if it’s gonna be in 3D even. But I’d say most probably yes. 3D means more money for the studio so whenever they get to make a movie 3D nowadays, they do it.

  2. I’ve Inception on Dvd, a friend sent me, but I still haven’t watched it yet. Can’t even tell you why, lol. But I should check it out soon.
Didn’t even know it was from Nolan, too. Sometimes these things just passes me by and I don’t realise it 😉
Should be awesome in 3D, so I hope so!
