Don’t You Wanna Stay (feat. Kelly Clarkson) – Jason Aldean

I’ve been obsessing over this song for the past week or so. I’ve had it for a while but I have no idea what got me to listen to it excessively now. I love the part after the bridge where Kelly Clarkson goes into her high note. It’s a really good one. You should check it out 🙂

  1. Which high note? The “Oh Yeah-ah-ah” or the last “Dont You wanna STAY-E-YAY-E-YAYYYYYY?” I’m drawing a blank on where the bridge is in this song.

    She’s in a really high key for this song. I think it’s what makes such a simple track so addictive.

    • The bridge, in my opinion, is basically one line “it feels so perfect baby”. You can also consider the “don’t you wanna stay here a little while” line afterwards as part of it.
      The high note I was referencing is after the chorus following the “bridge” when Kelly goes into her “Don’t you wanna STAAAAY” :p
