Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 Golden Globes For Your Consideration Poster & Video

Warner Bros just shared this poster with me, which they’ve been circulating as part of the award season campaign for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.

After being slightly bummed out by Deathly Hallows not receiving almost any award love from Critics so far, this makes me feel slightly better that Warner Bros are not simply letting it slide. Perhaps they’re keeping the big guns for the award shows that matter.

Without further ado, here’s the poster:

There’s also this short but very well-done and emotional video. Ask me, I got goosebumps watching it.

  2. Being a huge fan of Alan Rickman as Snape, I love this ad but did anyone else notice that this is not the actual picture from the movie? Like, there’s a different Rickman face photoshopped over the original. Perhaps it had something to do with lighting because in the original the shot is further away BUT Rickman’s facial expression in the original gave me chills, whereas this one doesn’t capture the true essence of that shot in all it’s intensity. I do like this one too, just wondering if anyone else noticed

    • I need to watch the movie again to make sure. But I think the poster works. I hope they actually did more posters featuring other different characters to showcase the strength of the movie as an ensemble and to remind voters of how valuable HP was to this generation (and to the movie industry’s pocketbooks).
