R.I.P Samer Hanna, Wissam Eid & Francois el Hajj

Dear Concerned Lebanese Citizen,

Were you this concerned when Samer Hanna got shot in his helicopter while flying over South Lebanon?

Were you this concerned when Wissam Eid and Francois el Hajj were blown up until there was nothing left of them to return to their grieving families?

Captain Wissam Eid

Dear Lebanese army,

Were you this feisty when you lost Samer Hanna, Wissam Eid & Francois el Hajj?

Were you this protective of your own when you lost those three men to three separate, equally-horrifying, assassinations?

General Francois el Hajj

Dear Lebanese political websites worried about the army,

Were you remotely concerned when your directing politicians stood in the home of one of them and defended his killers?

Were you remotely concerned with the army’s sake and all the martyrs that fell in Nahr el Bared when your allies proclaimed the camp a “red line?”

Lieutenant Samer Hanna

Dear Lebanese people hating on the army,

Where was this hate when you were begging for army protection when you were getting killed?

Where was this hate when you proclaimed the army as the only entity you want for your protection?

“Allah ye7me l jeish” 100%. Bass shou bta3mel bi 7ezbo? Shou bta3mel bel 3alam yalli ma bta3ref Allah?

  1. Well said!!
If you turn on some TV -brain washing- stations, you can see how devoted they are, broadcasting songs dedicated for the army and video clips… What an irony 3anjad!!
People tend to forget when “Samer Hanna” was actually blamed for getting killed. “What was he doing there in the first place”; this was actually said.
Now they’re all “Lebanese Army is a red line”, well the same red line was drawn (with a waving threatning finger) in thew face of this army when they were getting killed in “Nahr l Bared”..
It is actually the same army that these people, all of a sudden a few years ago in a 180 degrees twist of opinion, decided that they should be our second option when it comes to defending and protecting Lebanon.
You can’t just be picky and defend the army whenever you find it suitable for you, you can’t just disregrad attacks on the army when it comes from your allies.
Yes the army is here for us and only the army, and NO ONE should be given the right to tell them what to do, give them their rights ans stop humiliating them!!

    • Back in 09, when elections were well-underway, the words: “We can’t blame the murders of Samer Hanna” were said straight out of a political rally in Batroun. Paraphrasing of course.
The views towards the Lebanese army have been hypocritical from the start. Twisting in opinions is very common for those being discussed now. I don’t think we need to delve deeper into that now, right?

  2. It’s just sad to see the army dying in such battles… but in the end all we know is that they are carrying what Gen. Francois ‘will :
إلى رفاق السلاح حافظوا على أمانتين: الأرض والشعب لتكونوا ملح الأرض التي انبتتكم ومفخرة أبناء شعبكم ليبقى وطننا آمناً أبياً موحداً في وجه الأخطار
