Lady Gaga’s Judas. This Is Getting Ridiculous

Unless you’re living under a rock, which is actually good for you at this point, you definitely know that Lady Gaga is releasing a new album this May.

Her first single, Born This Way, has already gone to become her biggest hit and she’s now prepping her second release off the album, a song titled “Judas”.

Set to be released on April 19th, during Holy Week, the song is about the betrayal of a loved one. Lady Gaga has released the cover art for the single and here it is:

The Carrie Underwood Authenticness

I was browsing the web when I came across this article, posted by the LA Times.

The article wonders (if you don’t feel like reading it) if Taylor Swift will finally beat Carrie Underwood at this year’s ACM awards.

The thing that bothered me the most about the article was its title:

Can Taylor Swift finally beat Carrie Underwood at the Academy of Country Music Awards?

Why would a reputable publication decide to name one of its few articles about this award show this way? Not only does it show some juvenile attitude towards the matter but it’s also uncalled for and shows some ignorance regarding this award show.

Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood are competing against each other in one category, female vocalist of the year, but anyone would tell you that they’re both longshots to win, amidst what is expected to be a Miranda Lambert sweep.

The ACMs air in a few hours. Taylor Swift, with the help of her fans, has unleashed a massive twitter campaign to help her win the fan-voted portion of the coveted Entertainer Of The Year title. And if that wasn’t enough, she also has a camera up for grabs to those who vote for her. Also, people who have been to her concerts in international countries have found pamphlets on their seats inviting them to vote for her.

Brad Paisley, on the other hand, is offering a free iPod and a free download to those who vote for him and invite others to do so.

Carrie Underwood has never done that. She has won Entertainer of the Year twice in a row at the ACMs, the only country female singer ever to win it twice (let alone in a row), and she has never asked her fans to vote for her via a massive-online campaign or by giving out free downloads and goodies.

Katy Perry’s Hidden Message in E.T?

Katy Perry’s new video for her smash hit E.T. was released on Thursday and, like the song, it’s all about aliens and weirdness.

I have mixed feelings about the video personally. I thought it was way overhyped (everyone was saying how it was going to be the video of the year and whatnot) so I was let down by the final result. But it was still a good video in the sense that it wasn’t boring and it was definitely engaging. The visual effects were quite good, especially for a music video, and I just like the song. I did ever since I listened to its demo.

You can watch the video here.

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley’s Duet – Remind Me (Info)

This is what we know so far regarding the Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley duet.

– It will be the upcoming single off Brad Paisley’s album.

– Will be available around Memorial Day (around May 30th)

– It is about a couple rekindling their romance

– It was written by Brad. He felt it was missing something, so he delayed his album to get Carrie on board.

– Those who have heard it are saying it’ll be huge.

– It is a power ballad with a huge ending.

– According to Brian Mansfield, “if your average power ballad was a kiss, this one would slip you a little tongue”

– The lyrics to the chorus are as follows:

Do you remember how it used to be,

We’d turn out the lights and we didn’t just sleep

Remind me, baby, remind me

So on fire, so in love

That look in your eyes that I miss so much

Remind me, baby, remind me.

Is it just me or are those lyrics amazing and hot?

Happy Birthday Carrie Underwood!

Today is Carrie Underwood’s birthday! She turns 28!

So a fan decided to dedicate a video for the occasion and I thought it was pretty great. Carrie even commented on it, finding it to be very sweet.

What can we, as fans, expect from Carrie’s 28th year? Even greater music, a stellar album and Carrie continuing to be the great role model that she is. May she have many happy returns, filled with profuse givings of love, happiness and everything that is blessed!

Happy birthday Carrie!

And don’t forget anyone, when things get tough, just play on!
